System & Network Administrator (Pune)

Job Description:

• Should have sound technical knowledge of Linux/Unix Server and Windows Desktop
  Administration and related technologies.
• Experience in Unix / Linux Administration is essential. Excellent knowledge of TCP/IP networking, Qmail, Sendmail, Apache web server, MySql Database, Samba and Linux/Unix security system is required.
• Administration of all the desktops and LAN/WAN.
• Perform configuration settings and trouble-shooting of network equipments like routers, switches, modems, etc.
• Perform routine backup of configuration & operating systems of network equipments

Desired Profile:

• Degree in Engineering (Electronics / Computers) or Masters in IT or MCA or Equivalent
  Preferred Cisco certified professional
• Preferred Linux/Unix/ Certified Professional.
• Overall 2 – 5 years experience of which 1+ years of experience in managing similar setup.
• Should be able to setup, configure and manage high end network infrastructure (Cisco Routers 1721, 3725, Cisco Switches 4506, PIX 525, NIDS)
  Setup, configure, maintain and Manage VPN and P2P links (Leased Line, ISDN, VSAT)
• Install, Configure and administer Linux/Unix Server.

Minimum Experience: 2 years
Maximum Experience: 5 years
